Hi, I'm Olek.

Vasylstepan Photo is my street portrait studio. I shoot portraits around Toronto — on the street, in parks, wherever there's good natural light and a bit of character in the frame. I'd rather catch a real laugh than a perfect pose.

Today I shoot on a Nikon Z6II. I pick the location — usually downtown Toronto, or by arrangement if you have somewhere in mind — and you get a gallery you'll actually want to show your friends, or use for work.

Message me on Instagram or by email — I post open dates in my Instagram Stories, check there first.

Location

I pick the spot — usually downtown Toronto — or, by arrangement and depending on open slots, we can shoot somewhere you have in mind.

Shoot & gallery

One hour of shooting — a few days later, a private online gallery with the finished photos.

FAQ

Good to know before you book

What should I wear?

Solid colors and muted tones photograph best — avoid busy patterns, big logos, and pure white or neon. Bring a backup outfit if you're not sure, and dress for the season since we're outdoors the whole session.

What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes — we'll be walking. Any props that matter to you (a pet's leash, a favourite jacket, an instrument), and for couples or family sessions, everyone dressed and ready to go.

How early should I arrive?

Right at your booked time, ready to shoot. Sessions start and end on schedule to respect the next booking, so getting there a couple of minutes early helps.

Can I choose a different location?

Sessions are usually downtown Toronto, but a different spot can work by arrangement — mention it when you book and I'll confirm it fits.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel 7+ days before your session — full refund. Cancel 48 hours to 7 days before — 50% refund. Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or don't show up — no refund.

What if it rains?

We reschedule at no extra cost, or move to a covered spot nearby if one works for the shots you want — no need to stress about the forecast.
